Ingredients
Crust
1 Cup Flour
1 tsp Powdered Sugar
50 grams white butter
Baking Powder 1/4th Spoon
Filling
1 Apple cleaned, peeled and chopped
50 grams sugar
Nutmeg Powder 1/4th Spoon
Method
Sieve the flour, baking powder and powdered sugar.
Add the butter to the above mixture and and bind into a dough using water.
Leave the above mixture in the fridge to cool for 10 mins.
Take 2/3rd of the dough and roll out like a flat chapati and place it onto a pie tin.
Now take a pan and place the chopped apples in it. Add the sugar to the apples and cook till they are soft. Cool and add nutmeg powder.
Place the apples in the pie dish on top of the flat dough.
Take the remaining dough, cut it into strips and decorate on top of the apples.
Bake in an oven at 180 degrees for about 45 mins.
Serve hot with Vanilla ice cream.
